OpenVPN over IPv6

looking good so far. I put a connection up between home (native ipv6) machine and vserver UTM (HE, tunnelbroker) and its working as expected. I am not getting the problems i have with IPsec over IPv6 so this will definitly be prefered in the future. Aside from that IPv6 is much better routed, lower pings for my connection to the vserver (8ms instead of 45ms)

  • Extra Tip: you can run a RED connection through a Site2Site IPv6 Connection if the other Sophos (shared) Internal Network IP is used as Endpoint for the RED Client. (I am using UTM to UTM in this case)

This way bad (ipv4) routing can be circumvent in favor of often better (faster) ipv6 routing.

Native RED over IPv6 (UTM to UTM) would be a real nice deal.
