Web Proxy Local content filtering database?

Had to turn off the http proxy yet again..come on guys get this feature pushed out or fix your bandwidth issues.

    please reply any body..!! Second thing if i want to check downloaded Local database this command is not working..!!
     /var/chroot-http/var/pattern/sfcontrol


    then you aren't doing something right.  you have to be logged in as root.  also this only works right now in 8.10x not the beta versions yet.

    the disk option has the same caveats as the ram version. Keep in mind neither of these options are officially supported.


    So can i use this in Production Box and it will come in v8.2...??

    no it is not going to be official in 8.2..need to search the forums this has been discussed at length already.


    Its Ok, It is  unofficially, But can i use it permanently in production Boxes...??? or it is just now for testing purpose only..???

    How to Identify that web proxy is using local Database....???

    Easy.
    1/. Has your memory usage increased by about 10%
    2/. is your web surfing faster than before you implemented the it 

    If neither then you are not using the local database.
