My skype can't connect

Do you have IM/p2p enabled?Is skype allowed? which version(Astaro) are you using?

I have the same problem, here is the info you asked for:-
IM/P2P Filtering Enabled: Yes
Skype Allowes: Yes, i put it in the exceptions
ASTARO ASG 7.501

I expect you having a restrictive Firewall setup from lan to wan and transparent HTTP and HTTPS Proxy enabled, am I right ?

If yes, simply activate Socks Proxy on ASG and configure the Socks Proxy in Skype. Works fine.

i did configure the SOCKS proxy in ASG on port 8080, & i configure Skype to use SOCKS proxy, but still it didn't work :-(

When you using HTTP/HTTPS Proxy on Port 8080, you must configure Skype to use a Socks5 Proxy with Port 1080 (Standard Socks Port) and (additional Username/Password)

Works fine for me.

Socks Proxy definately works. Please leave socks Proxy on default port 1080. It may take a little bit longer to lskype connect as without socks proxy and direct connection. You have to restart skype after adding the socks proxy settings [:)]

I use this on many hardened ASG's, which are more or less closed from internal to external network...

Maybe your socks logfile will help.
