Sophos UTM Manager (SUM) is our free centralized management solution for managing multiple UTMs. SUM allows you to monitor, access, back up and configure all your UTMs, conveniently from a single pane of glass.

New features
Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) management
The ATP feature can be en-/disabled for multiple UTMs at once. Furthermore the global host-/threat exceptions for ATP can be configured.
NTP server, timezone and date time settings management
SUM can now configure the NTP server, date and time as well as the timezone settings on selected UTM devices.
Object usage information
Regarding global object definitions, it is now possible to see if an object is in use by another SUM managed object and which objects are using it.
Changes
Frictionless migration from UTM 9.2
UTM 9.2 and newer are supported in fully managed mode. That means, when you are migrating from UTM 9.2 to a newer version you don't have to follow the staged rollout procedure anymore. However, some of the object definitions might not be supported by a particular UTM version. For this reason there is a new object deployment status called "unsupported version", that tells you that your changes could not be applied on the UTM.
Firewall rules behind local rules
Firewall rulesets can be placed behind local rules on the UTM now, so that the global rules don't override the local ones.
