Welcome to the SUM 4.1 Beta staging area. SUM 4.1 is a release around enabling MSP's to unlock a monthly licensing and billing system (along with entitlements to subscriptions and capacity) for UTM's and their subscriptions, along with SMC.
This utility-based billing system allows you to connect devices to SUM and then have SUM act as a license manager for you, automatically deploying short-term keys to the installations. Each month, you are "billed" for your consumption during the month based on the number of users indicated.
There is a new MSP licensing section within SUM itself, and your account in https://my.astaro.com must be enabled by Sophos to access the MSP program features. From there, you JOIN your SUM to MyAstaro using your MyAstaro credentials and SUM will take from there, automatically crafting the rght based on the
To start, you will need to install SUM 4.1 and then connect up UTM devices (running UTM 9 for best "testing' period, after which you can use the sections in WebAdmin around MSP licensing to deploy precisely:
