[BUG] Traffic shaping not working?

Hi Helmut,

i just tested a download over the RED Tunnel.

at the RED site i have a VDSL with 10MBit up an 50MBit down.
On the ASG site i have 2 DSL, one with 5MBit down and 512kbit up and the other with
4MBit down and 640kbit up.

I tried to transfer a file (using SAMBA) from the RED site to the ASG site. I expected something like 9MBit upstream as i have configured both WAN Ports. But i got only 1.8 - 2.0 MBit [:(]

if i transfer a file without the RED (using FTP) i get about 4-5MBit

Could you please try to only connect one uplink to the RED50 and only set one hostname in the RED50 configuration?

Hi Helmut,

set only one hostname and use only WAN1 didn't change the situation.

i get the same result with a FTP Transfer.

Over the IPSec tunnel 2,7MBit, bypass the IPSec tunnel 4MBit.
I switched all floodprotections of, to be shure that issn't the problem.

On the DSL Line i see only 2,7MBit of traffic getting in when i use the RED, so "overhead" shouldn't be the problem, hopefully.

Trafficshaping over the 2 DSL Ports don't seem to work too [:(]

Hi Helmut,

it seems that a exception in "Network-Protection -> Intrusion Prevention -> Exceptions" for all WAN IP's is needed if you have the RED behind a ASG. After that i had the full performance of all DSL Lines.
