ADSync - german umlauts in username

Hi,
how you resolve the problem if the ADUser has a umlaut in his name like "schöck".
The ADSync create some strange user "uschÃ¶ck". The login will not work on this user ins AMA, but syncing? And using of the outlook-plugin?

I think the only way is to rename the user into "uschoeck".

Please report your experience...

Always like such special characters stuff.

We can fly to the Moon, we send rockets to the Mars - which is at least 56 Million (!!!) km away from earth - and can communicate with it, but we are not able to handle some lousy special characters correctly... Unbelievable...

Oh, btw. never use special characters ;-)

Thanks, for reporting. This is obviously a bug. It will be fixed in the next scheduled update within a few weeks.

Hi friends,
the AMA seems to be updated, the user now correct with german umlauts [[:)]]
Also small new facelift....

and the iPhone AMA also works [[:)]]
