we use Google Apps for our emails. Some users use the web interface to access their mails, some use the a "Google Sync" tool to synchronise Outlook with Google Mail. How does Astaro Mail Archiving support this?
We have not tried it with Google Apps yet. Basically, you would need a folder where a copy of any received or sent mail is placed.
You could then let ama poll these mails via POP3 or IMAP.
Another option would be, to tell Google Apps to send a copy of any sent or received mail to AMA.
I assume, the first option is more likely to work in Google Apps.
pgruber > you can not POP from many different places with google apps, if a machine POP a mailbox, every email are marked as downloaded and won't be retrieve from the users client.
