Bridging wlan interfaces to physical interfaces - possible or not?

Hi guys,

a quick question:

I've seen that with 7.507 it's now possible to bridge wlan interfaces to eth interfaces, at least in the GUI when selecting the WiFi interfaces als "Convert Interface". However, after doing that, the GUI behaves strangely and the system doesn't really show the expected behaviour.

So, I'd be glad if you could quickly clarify if this is considered a bug in the GUI or if the feature should indeed work.

If it doesn't work (yet), is there a way - maybe even an unsupported one - to enable this functionality via confd?

    This is a gui bug, it shouldn't be possible to set this via the WebAdmin.
    From a backend perspective, while it is possible to configure this correctly in the confd the middleware is not capable of putting that configuration into effect, resulting in the weird behaviour that you have noticed. So the answer is no - there is not even a hidden way to have this configuration running.
