1/. I have in place a pop3 filter to exclude a certain spam source.
2/. The IPS appears to have stopped working
3/. the web concurrent connections has stopped counting around 0200 on the 10th
About 0200 Melbourne (AU) time yesterday (10th Dec) something happened that caused the above to stop functioning.
I have checked the up2date log and there was a clam and avira update around that time..
The IPS report has a line that starts half way up a graph and then nothing even though the report shows 5 attacks. The graph starts at 1 and finishes at 1.91. Previous day's reports have similar issues.
This might be a couple of seperate issues.

The mail issue will need more investigation on my part because I have been using secure connections to the ISP servers for a while, which would explain why the spam appeared?
I have checked the user portal logs and found the last spam trapped was dated the 7th Dec 2011 which is prior to the 8.295b installation.
The weekly and daily reports showed the spam being caught. Looks like I have a problem with my mail.
Can prefetch be made to use secure servers or is that a feature request?
