Sheesh, do people at Astaro sit around thinking of ways to make life MORE difficult for Administrators and less compliant with security Best Practices?
The Astaro Authentication Client is only available as an .exe that doesn't appear to have the capability for a silent install. I'm a small shop with around 50 endpoints, but I don't have the time to run around system to system installing this and neither will admins at any but the tiniest places. As far as it being available through the user portal, that's fine, but following what has been considered BEST Practice for the past 11 years or so, my users are standard users with no ability to install software.
How about adding a silent install switch to the .exe and maybe even offering an .msi install option as well?
If it isn't usable by security conscious medium sized or larger businesses, what's the point?
