Hello,
in our Active Directory we have a group with the name "alle" and a user "global" which is member of this group.
Under "Users -> Groups" I can create a new group with the following config:
Group-Name: Astaro-Benutzer-Alle
Group-Type: Backend membership
Backend: Active Directory
Limit to backend group(s) membership: Yes
Active Directory Groups-List: CN=alle,OU=Company-Name,DC=internal,DC=company,DC=city,DC=de
Test settings with user "global" under "Users -> Authentication -> Active Directory -> Test settings" gives the output
Information:
User authentication:
Authentication test passed.
User is a member of the following groups:
Astaro-Benutzer-Alle
When I use this group under "Web Security -> HTTP/S Profiles -> Filter Assignments", this does not work.
The group "alle" in the Active Directory has the attribut/setting "Gruppenbereich - Universal". This seems to be the problem. If the group in the Active Directory has the attribut/setting "Gruppenbereich - Global", all works fine.
