Hello,
in our Active Directory we have a group with the name "Domänen-Benutzer" and a user "global" which is member of this group.
Under "Users -> Groups" I can create a new group with the following config:
Group-Name: Astaro-Domaenen-Benutzer
Group-Type: Backend membership
Backend: Active Directory
Limit to backend group(s) membership: Yes
Active Directory Groups-List: CN=Domänen-Benutzer,CN=Users,DC=intern,DC=company,DC=city,DC=de
Test settings with AD-user "global" under "Users -> Authentication -> Active Directory -> Test settings" gives the output
Information:
User authentication:
Authentication test passed.
User is a member of the following groups:
No groups have been found for this user
It seems, that groups in ADS which contains Umlauts are not find by ASG.
