A proper connected and working RED on V8 (7.920) will be shown as up/up in ASG dashboard but is shown with no link in Resource Information / Network Usage on Details screen
The link state of the RED device is deducted using some arcane rituals directly in the WebAdmin. The device-agent tries to treat the RED server interface like a normal interface and checks the regular link state via ethtool.
It might take some time to fix - if we want to do it right and create common code which is shared between WebAdmin and device-agent. Otherwise we need to duplicate the arcane ritual mentioned above within the agent.
