Synchronized User ID and STAS

Is Synchronized User ID intended as a future replacement of STAS and is it only intended to work together with Sophos endpoint software?

Hi Envercpt, 
 It is a recommended alternative/addition to STAS in a Customer environment where they have Sophos Central deployed. The reason for this is STAS has some limitations which cannot be worked around, like not being able to pick up multiple IPs if the client is on both WiFi and ethernet and switching between the two can leave auth gaps and client irritiation.
