Sophos Connect EAP Client Stalls when windows 10 sleeps, unable to reconnect or cancel after resume (the client also thinks there is no internet connection)

If the Sophos Connect Client has an active tunnel and Windows 10 goes into sleep mode, when windows 10 resumes sometimes the Sophos Connect Client is stuck in a state where it is not able to re-establish a connection. You are also unable to cancel the existing connection attempt.

It is indicating there is no internet access however WiFi is active (and internet is working or I would not be able to type this)

The only way to recover is to quit the Sophos Connect Client and relaunch it.
