Console access via CM fails

Is this related to V21.0? 
You mean the console hosted by CM? 
This console has a major delay and also may have a different layout than you expect, making it hard to enter the password. 

Was doublechecking it: 

No, I could not get that far in accessing the XG console, the password failed at the please enter your password prompt.

Yes - my screenshot is after i entered the password.

As said, try it really slowly and check for potential layout issues on the keyboard. 

I will try very slow, but the keyboard is not the issue because I can login with direct access.

I have found the CLI via CM console has bad keystroke timing. You type abcdefg

and it may write afegbc. Not all the times but sometimes.

I had to type

a

wait 3 seconds

b

wait 3 seconds

c

...

to be sure, it does what expected.

Thank you for your experience. The issue still exists, because slow typing is a workaround for a bug. because you cannot see what you are typing and should not change the order of the characters arriving.

I typed slowly, not slow enough.

I typed very slowly and the password was accepted which then leads to the next issue, I did not try and that is entering text for the various commands.
