  • Is there any chance to have "delete/reset" messages on Control Center? Thanks.

  • +1

I'm fearing that for the foreseeable future I will have to keep looking at:

All the VPN functionality has moved from the user portal to the new VPN portal. For details, see KB-000045105.

Managing several Sophos firewalls both at work and at some home locations, dedicated to continuously improve IT-security and feeling well helping others with their IT-security challenges.

  • No - Right now its not possible to work on Alerts.

What kind of Alerts, beside VPN Migration, is interesting to delete?

Resetting would be also to reinstall the system. That resets the entire control center.

We have a backlog Item to reintroduce a new alert system, but this is not on the timeline for now.

  • e.g. this one as well - at least after some time. Mine is one year old:
"Stopped access to the user portal from all-WAN sources because users haven't accessed it in 90 days. To allow secure WAN access, use VPN or multi-factor authentication."

  • From memory, wasn't there a pseudo hot fix deployed to remove a number of warnings from the GUI home page?

  • I think that admin should be able to delete all messages (when needed). I can't remember all the messages, but the one related to Sophos Central, for example, if it is not managed anymore from Central. The improvement is to have a clean dashboard and see on the ly possible interesting messages. If there is a message that you cannot delete, you won't look at messages section anymore.
