a little consistency in naming conventions is required.
When creating a static IP lease the name defaults to uppercase.
The DHCP lease table appears to obtain the identity of the lease from the hosts and services table which is a free format table as far as names go.
If there is no entry in the hosts and services table the lease table appears to pickup the name from the device as far as IP4 leases go, there are no names in the IPv6 lease table which is a failing.
I suspect there is a feature request asking for all tables to be linked so that you only need to enter a lease details once. Would also be good if the same feature had the ability to crete clientless users then we would have consistency across all rules, policies and reports then we start together towards Security Made Easy.
