IPS CPU Allocation in EAP2

Question

I have Vm with 16 CPU's and if i allocated all 16 CPU to IPS instance then i use to get crash on EAP1 . When have allocated with 8 CPUS there was no crash. 
 Can i all the of them to test and what is the best practice ??? with EAP2

 Issue was occurring with EAP1 firmware and running well with EAP2 - 18.0.0.180 Build . Thanks for the confirmation.
