while refining the various rules I have created in the IP4 and IPv6 environments, I found you cannot have a NAT rule with same name in both environments.
So the XG while sort of treating IP4 and IPv6 separately doesn't really.

Hi Ian,
I think this actually harkens back to the original objects and rules configuration database. If I remember correctly, there is a global objects database and some things cannot have the same name because of a unique name clash.
Someone will have to correct me on this if I'm wrong, it's been a while. I remember at one point you couldn't name a service and a firewall rule the same.
