SophosXGS meldet bei manchen Citrix VDI folgendes

    Sophos Central Event Details for SCHWARZE-ROBITEC GmbH & Co KG
    What happened: The Sophos software installer has been run on a computer but has failed to protect it fully.
    Where it happened: VDIW10-A02
    User associated with device: n/a
    How severe it is: High
    What Sophos has done so far: We detected that the installer registered the computer with Sophos Central. However, we did not receive confirmation that the remaining steps for protection were completed.
    What you need to do: Remove all Sophos components, restart the computer, and run the installer again. If installation fails again, contact Technical Support.

Es gibt 10 VDI aus dem gleichen Abbild aber nur bei manchen tritt das auf.
Gibt es hierfür eine Lösung?

    Hallo Oliver,

    das ist ein Sophos-Endpoint-Protection-Problem und keines der Firewall / XGS.

    In meiner VDI-Umgebung kommt es oft vor, dass 1-2 VDI mehr gestartet werden als benötigt und dann wegen "fehlendem Interesse" vom Citrix-DDC wieder heruntergefahren werden.
    Wenn Sophos in dieser Zeit ein Update gestartet/durchgeführt hat, aber das noch nicht an Central melden konnte, kommt diese Meldung.

    Eine Lösung habe ich auch noch nicht gefunden.

    Evtl. noch mal unter "Sophos Endpoint" die Frage stellen.

    PS: nutzt du PVS oder MCS ?

    danke für Deine schnelle Antwort. Das erklärt wie es zu den Meldungen kommt.

    Wir  setzen das MCS Verfahren bei uns ein.
