Not able to sync home license

Hi,

I get this in the Messages of my Home XG:

------------------

Your device is not able to connect with the Customer My Account server since the last 77 days. If the device fails to synchronize for 13 more day(s), it will be deactivated. Please  {vrclicklink}  to synchronize manually.

-----------------

I also wrote to support@sophos.com, but I did not get response.

Any Ideas how to solve it?

Thanks
Tom

  • I got the same problem now. My system was running over one year without any problems. But now...

Are any news available? A solution without reinstall the entire Firewall? My firewall is running on a bare metal server. So it is not easy to reinstall.

    Regards

  • Hi

Please send me a private message containing your serial number and I will look at this.

Please note that the XG licensing system is designed to provide one license per serial number. If you have more than one instance running using the same serial it is likely that the license will stop working for at least one of the instances. If you need more than one Home instance then you need to request an additional Home serial number and use that. The exception of course, is if you are setting up an HA group with a Passive device, in which case the Passive device doesn't need a serial number.

is up and running again after I made an update on the licensing backend)
