Follow up Question on this?

We have XG210 and XG135.

XG210 needs to upgrade to XGS116(w)

XG135 needs to upgrade to XGS107(w)

XG135 can upgrade to XGS107(w) but not the XG210 to XGS116(w).

There is no way to make the backup work perhaps as there are loads of rules to be recreated on the XGS116 if we can't restore XG210 to XGS116. 

Firmware is up to date as well. 

1U units only support 126 or 136. 

A downgrade to a 116 sounds a little bit much. 

The EOL for XG210 is in 4 years so we purchased XGS units. 

THey are a bit cheaper but performance were similar or slightly slower but the Branch offices doesn't require a massive upgrade. 

So the backup / restore is not supported. You can only approach it via Import/export. 

I would rather recommend not to go that low in terms of appliance coming from a 1U unit.
