VPN config broken, no server_dn is NULL in SQL after restore

Question

I had to restore my firewall from a backup, and now I can't download SSL VPN config from the portal anymore. 
 Checking the log I get the following error: 
 
 /home/jenkins/root/workspace/OmC/CI_64/build_dir/target-x86_64_glibc/vpnportal-1/internal/vpndownload/sslvpn/sslvpn.go:304 sql: Scan error on column index 0, name "server_dn": converting NULL to string is unsupported [0.468ms] [rows:1] SELECT server_dn FROM "tblsslvpnglobalconf" 
 
 I updated the VPN default config without success.

Which release are you on ? Please check if the certificate subject field of the certificate used in the sslvpn configuration has a single quote in it. 
 It looks similar to NC-128468 reported in v20 GA and fixed in v20 MR1

 You may have logs like added here after the one which you have added level=error msg= "Failed to generate sslvpn peruser config file for user
