Caching Web Content XGS4500 (SFOS 19.5.3 )?

Hello,

I have a problem with our Firewall. We have a service Provider who takes care of our website, which is hosted by them. When they do any changes on the website, I cannot see these changes while connected to the internet through our firewall. If I use a public Internet everything is fine. Is there anything how I can delete the cache, or is it possible to create an exception for this website?

Thanks in advance.

  • It is unlikely the XG is doing any caching that would affect this.

Can you try clearing your browser cache (Control-Shift-Delete) or using Control-F5 for full refresh, or using private/incognito mode.

  • We already had this behaviour in the old days with UTM Firewalls as well.

Turned out to be a missing "pragma nocache" Meta-Tag at the webserver side.

This is most certainly a cache problem, you only need to find which cache is causing this.

Mit freundlichem Gruß, best regards from Germany,

  • Is there a possibility to add custom Headerto every https-request, so our service provider can use cloudflare cache rules to add cache-control values for example "x-que-disable-cache = true"?
