Wireless HotSpot Redirecting Using Firewall HostName

I am back testing Sophos firewalls. I am running SFVH (SFOS 20.0.0 GA-Build222)

I have everything working sort of. I setup a hotspot in my lab and everything works fine until I switch from Use the IP address of the first internal interface to Use the firewall's configured hostname: the portal to accept the terms of the hotspot comes up but then when it tries to switch to the user login screen it doesn't come up.

I know in a production environment you would not have a user sign in to the guest network but I was just testing features.

Is their a particular preferred way to setup this access?

Furthermore, if users are required to login and the hostname of the firewall translates to the outside interface IP would this cause an issue?
