Installing sophos firewall home edition on the XG85 device.

Olá pessoal.

Eu tenho dois dispositivos Sophos XG85 em minha casa, sabendo que eles foram descontinuados, eu gostaria de saber da comunidade se eu posso instalar firewall home edition em um deles.

Se assim for, há um tutorial no fórum que me ajudaria com a instalação.

    Sorry for my Portugese which is a bit rusty, so I will answer in English instead.

    You can install the Home firewall license on it, but you will first need to either completely wipe the existing disks or replace them with other disk. Then you can download the software version of the firewall installer (so not the hardware installer) and install that on the device.

    The software installer will not install on an appliance without either wiping the disk or replacing the disk. But the software installer is needed to be able to use the Home license.

    Managing several Sophos firewalls both at work and at some home locations, dedicated to continuously improve IT-security and feeling well helping others with their IT-security challenges.
