Captive portal on iPhones not working correctly

Hello All,

I have recently setup the captive portal on our XGS device, I have the portal running on https with a valid public certificate.

Android devices work just fine, the user connects to the open network and the android device redirects to the login portal without issue.

However, on IOS devices this doesn't happen, the only way to get connected is to open safari and manual type the portal address https://fw.domain.com:8090/httpclient.html

The ios device we have tested with is running v16.6

    When i was testing out capative portal, i had simillar probelms but on all devices.

    If i remeber correctly in my case the device remebered be already connected to this wifi and dont bring up the "notifcation" again.

    And i think i had more problems with ios too, as solution i just printed out QR codes to acces those sites more quickly.
