Sophos XG 19 IPv6 passthrough

Hello

I apologize if the question has already been asked.
I just set up an XG version 19 at my home
I did the settings and everything works except for my oqee application on my Apple TV which asks me for IPv6.
I don't understand why the application can't communicate with my ISP's ipv6 servers
I did not make any particular IPv6 configuration
hi, i apologize for my bad english

thank you for any help you can give me

  • Hi,

IPv6 needs a Nat to pass any traffic. The XG currently does not support pd. Have you enabled IPv6 on the wan interface?

  • You've mentioned this before and I'm not using my XG for ISP-provided IPv6, but when I had a Hurricane Electric tunnel, I didn't need NAT. So you're saying that IPv6 (internal) -> IPv6 (ISP) requires NAT to work, but IPv6 (internal) -> IPv6 (6in4 tunnel) does not?

  • I can't remember using a HE tunnel on the XG, I did on the UTM.

Very simple, IPv6 using address to WAN, no NAT no access to the internet. Now a HE tunnel would be considered accessing another internal network which does not require a NAT, my thoughts.
