  • Hi Magy,

If you would like to disable the interface you can select Network Zone as None, it will disable the interface

    Hope this might help you.

  • Hi Magy

Better to put your same requirement as a feature request, please use the below link and mention the way you want to work with the interface :

  • Actually there are certain technically limitation in doing this disable option, which needs more work to be done.

If you want to do this in a quick manner, simply export the config via Import/Export. Then disable the interface. If you need it back online, Import the file back. It is a quick solution for this case scenario.

Import/export is the most powerful tool in the firewall. You can actually do everything quite easily.

    See: https://community.sophos.com/sophos-xg-firewall/f/recommended-reads/123684/interface-vlan-migration-via-xml-import-export

You can configure the entire firewall and move everything from A to B without any troubles.

  • Hey its a fw :) not an Import/Export game

Plus i got the linux code from the technical support that can stop it as long as the fw not restarted  ..

    i digged so far..

so my opinion they better focus on it rather than butting a search bar :)

  • Hi,

seeing you didn’t like my last suggestion as an interim fix, try this one. Connect the port to a managed switch where you change the state of the port.
