Dead Heartbeat without license causes red Services icon

Hi All,

I‘ve got an issue that is well known here but I haven’t found a working trick to get rid of it.

My XG is registered for Central services, but I‘m running an all-basic setup, so there‘s no further subscription for device services.

As usual, the device started with the full trial for all services, which did run out as expected.

Now, I‘m stuck with a red Services icon in the dashboard. Activating/deactivating Heartbeat doesn‘t do anything.

But I‘ve got a message in this section telling me that there‘s a licensing issue and I should get in touch with my reseller.

Anyone got a suggestion how to get rid of that?

Hardware is XG106, Firmware 18.0.5 MR5 B586

Thanks and regards

  • As far as i know, this is currently not possible. Reason is, this module (RED Icon) is simply checking the services. The service for Heartbeat will be stopped (dead) of HB, if there is no license. This is the current behavior of the heartbeat service. As far as i know, there is a bug id to fix this behavior in future releases.
