    Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

What is the current version of 'Avira AV' and 'Sophos AV' under Backup & firmware > pattern updates?

Go to System services > Malware protection and check which antivirus engine is selected.

Also please post a snaphot of 'Malware and content scanning' from Web > General settings.

Check 'Malware' events in log viwer as well.

  • Thanbk you for your anbswer but it seems the last firmware version hasq been applied automatically, i think it just needed a restart .

    Hi,

Are you able to ping the management interface IP of the Auxiliary appliance?  If not then try to connect the console cable (BAUD 38400) and check if the appliance is running properly or has gone into Failsafe.

    Hi ,

The appliance gets into a Faulty status when the dedicated link port or monitored port(s) is down. It could be the bad cable, or one of the monitored ports isn't connected to the Auxiliary unit.

I would suggest you restart the auxiliary unit first, if that doesn't work check the physical connectivity.

In the worst case, you may need to break HA, check the auxiliary unit can still boo successfully, then re-establish HA.

You can check the following logs to identify the issue:

    • msync.log
    • ctsyncd.log
    • applog.log

    Thanks,
