HA with Home License in v18

Hi all!

Does anyone know if HA setup is possible with V18 and Home license?
I know it wasn't in v17 and older, but would be really great to test this feature for long term in my home lab before rolling out to customers.

HA in V17 was really buggy at the one cluster we have and broke on almost every firmware update.

Is there any document that lists which features are not possible with home license?
The overview text of the home license Sophos writes "Our Free Home Use XG Firewall is a fully equipped software version of the Sophos XG firewall". I read: "You can use every feature of our XG at home, including HA". Slight smile

Thanks.

  • Actually it should be possible to do it.

Simply go to Sophos homepage, get two different serialnumbers, register both serialnumbers to two different XGs and build the HA, as those appliances are independent.
