Connect client provision file

Hello there.

I did all as manual says regarding provision file to establish ssl vpn connection from one of my Win10 pc --> home usage. Ive paste the config to notepad, saved as .*pro file and imported. Cant get it work.

There is an error "Failed to load connection".

Ive checked dns name of my vpn gateway etc. Its all fine with different client connection is working.

Did you have such problems with it ?^^

  • this indicates, your gateway / Port to the user portal is not working.

If you paste your port and DNS/IP into the browser, can you access the user portal? This channel will be used to generate the user config for SSLVPN.

  • Ofcourse i can but locally, my user.portal isnt available via WAN connection. But from lan yes. If ill type https://192.168.2.1:4443 then i can get into guest portal.

  • Sophos Connect SSLVPN will access the User Portal to get the current SSLVPN configuration. Thats the entry point. You need to be able to access the User portal.

  • Sure you could be right, but since CVE of user guest portal i turned it off, but just for testing ive switch it back and there isnt any good results. Ofcourse i can connect to guest portal thru WAN via browser.

  • EDIT:

OK all i can say is that it was my fault why isnt working. While i was creating a prof file in "user_portal_port": <port>
I added "4443" instead as original documentation says 4443 -> without "". So now all is working Great
