All of a sudden on Sunday afternoon, several sites were being blocked with "Stop! Security risk detected - the requested content could not be scanned for malware due to an internal error".
Some of the known problem sites are:
Memsrr.org
Supersaas.com
Maine.gov
Bricker.com
HTTPS scanning is not enabled on the outbound internet rule
If I disable HTTP scanning the sites are not blocked anymore
If I exempt the problem sites from HTTP scanning (under Protect > Web > Exceptions) they are no longer blocked
The question is, why did this start happening all of a sudden, why are some sites blocked but not others, and how do I fix it?
I have a ticket in with Sophos support but I wondered if anyone else has seen this before.
