Configure Inside Out Rule for 2 external gateways 1 with NAT one without

Hi,

I have a XG behind a cable modem and a dsl modem.

Cable modem is already NATing so it is not sensfull to NAT from my LAN behind Sophos again. I route my traffic to that GW having a transfer network.

DSL modem is NOT NATing. So when using this way out I need to NAT.

How to configure failover between this 2 ways out? Is it possible?

Thanks for hints.

  • Hi,

I use Firewall-NAT behind NAT routers too.

    ... why not?

  • Hi Dirk,

    thanks für answer.

    1. doubbleNATing slows down the network (i learned once upon a time)

    2. voice (cloud telephony for example) recommend not to NAT more than one time.

But in gerenal you are right. It works somehow.
