Sophos XG Home License Fail

Hey there,

I´ve also a problem with licensing my XG Home Firewall (installed as a VM on a ESXi Host)

(If the GIF-animation is not shown, view the image here: i.imgur.com/mcdXgkA.gif)

In the message i got an "Appliance connectivity issue with the license server" error.

The firewall and the clients "behind" are able to ping sophos.com

Any help? A reinstall of the Firewall is impossible!

The license.log is here:

  • Hey There,

    no I´ve figured it out.

The Firewall Date was wrong. If you have the same issue, after the setup go to Administration -> Time, disable NTP Server and set the DATE (time was correct at my firewall but the date was set so 2010) to today. Now restart the firewall and activate it. :)

    Greetings!
