Sophos XG Home License Fail

Hey there,

I´ve also a problem with licensing my XG Home Firewall (installed as a VM on a ESXi Host)

(If the GIF-animation is not shown, view the image here: i.imgur.com/mcdXgkA.gif)

In the message i got an "Appliance connectivity issue with the license server" error.

The firewall and the clients "behind" are able to ping sophos.com

Any help? A reinstall of the Firewall is impossible!

The license.log is here:

  • Dennis,

try to reboot the appliance. Also make sure to configure your computer with the proper DNS, same for XG. Make sure that DNS are correctly configured.

The Sophos hat configured 192.168.2.1 (Fritz!Box "before" the VM ) and 1.1.1.1 as DNS Server. On the screenshot you can see, that the sophos is able to resolve the domain sophos.com
