Any known Bugs with Business Rules inside of Groups?

I restructured my some firewall rules and put them into groups to make them a bit easier to overview and discovered that moving business rules into a group simply breaks them completely. Instead of getting to the web server now, I get a certificate warning because the XG is responding with the cert of the User Portal and then presents the portal site rather than forwarding to the web server in the business rule. As soon as I detach the rule from the group it works just fine.

Tried calling support - I can't listen to the monotone hold music for more than 1h.

I really just hope v18 is going to be GA soon as I'm tired of troubleshooting all these bugs in v17.5.

Currently running MR8.

    Hi Bjoern Freiherr,

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. I would suggest you to Open a Support Case. I checked internal resources and was not able to find any known issue with business application rules inside the group.

Once you log a case with support, please PM me the case number.

    Thanks,

  • All my WAF / NAT Rules in V17.5 were in a Group and personal speaking, had no issues what so ever with those rules.

I know, there are couple cases about Business Rules, that they can break, if the whole setup came from a migrated UTM?
