stuck on the FIRMWARE LOADER screen

Im trying to install sophos xg firewall software for use as home use. i'm using sw-17.5.9_mr-9-577.iso image. I'm installing it on a pc Acer Aspire M1202. https://snlookup.com/acer-aspire-m1202-desktop-pt-sc60x-005-p139927 It does the install fine but when it reboots it gets stuck on the "FIRMWARE LOADER (press <enter> to display a list of images) nothing else is showing on the screen.

i did try installing Sophos UTM Home Edition v9.605-1.1 with the asg-9.605-1.1.iso and it works no problems but I would really like to run sophos xg firewall software.
