Up-to-date XG sizing guide that includes new XG 86/106 models

Hi,

Is there an updated XG sizing guide available that includes the new XG 86/106 models that have now replaced the 85/105? I can see from their datasheets that their throughput is slightly higher. The latest copy I can find is the one on the partner portal from August 2018.

Please find this latest XG Product Guide: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/medialibrary/pdfs/factsheets/sophos-xg-series-appliances-brna.pdf This includes XG 86 and XG 106 technical specifications including throughput. Hope this helps.

mdi-db is talking about the Sizing Guide, not data sheets.

I'm also searching for a version with the new models included.

mdi-db are you sure that sizing guide is from 2018? I have had a look on the partner portal and can't find any sizing guide for XG. All the ones I've found on the internet are copyright 2015 and for XG v15, so well out of date.

Throughput figures on data sheets are pretty much worthless. They are idealised figures that bear little resemblance to the real world once you start switching features on and start increasing the numbers of users. Their only use is to get an idea of comparative performance between models but aren't much help to pick a model.

This is a real pity, especially because Sophos presales people never get tired of emphasizing how important it is to choose the models according to the sizing guide...
