Using the same HTTPS Scanning CA on multiple XG Firewalls

We have a customer that is planning to deploy multiple XG Firewalls in multiple sites and I was wondering is it possible to make them all use the same CA for HTTPS Decryption and Scanning so that roaming users don't have to install multiple certificates?

  • You can use OPSWAT technology to place Sophos AV on multiple firewalls. If you use OPSWAT you can use a single Sophos licensing account to deploy multiple instances of the AV in various locations. The way the licensing works is that you can have as many deployments, because its the number of times that you scan a file that is charged. Just trying to give an alternative option on deploying Sophos.

  • Hi Laura,

that has nothing to do with the CA question and Sophos has its own distribution processes along with the AV installed at XG build time.

So your post is not relevant to this thread.
