Hi XG Community!

We've finished SFOS v17.0.1 MR1. This release is available from within your device for all SFOS v17.0 installations as of now.

The release is available to all SFOS version via MySophos portal.

Issues Resolved

  • NC-22472 [Base System] shm service found stopped
  • NC-23068 [IPS] Device stopped responding
  • NC-22950 [IPsec] Unable to login to GUI due to opcode stuck in v17.0 GA

  • We have been running the this version for just over a week with no issues thus far. STAS has been working well & so has the SSL VPN. HA and Failover is also working 100%. When I spoke to Sophos Support about the IPSEC issues they said that they had changed the IPSEC engine that was being used from Pluto to Strongswan and that is why they are having issues. They said these should all be resolved in MR2 but have no release date. Going to give a IPSEC tunnel a go now and see if it works out for us.
