any option for better reporting?

I'm trying to run reports from SMC 6.1.8.  The canned reports do not provide much detail.  for example - the device inventory report does not give me phone numbers.  Is there a way to get better reports out of SMC?

    Noone has any suggestions?  How do you get information on your devices enrolled in SMC?


    For example,  my reports do not give the model of the iphone or the phone number.

    Hi Charles,

    I had a look at our test server and there the model was correctly listed in the "Device inventory"  report which you can create as an SMC admin on an SMC 6.1 server.

    The phone number is pulled from the device details page and has to be entered manually. It is not pulled from the reported device properties automatically.

    Hi Stefan,

    Thanks for the reply.  When I run the "Devices" report and the "Device Inventory" report,  the Model is blank on BOTH and the Phone number field is blank on the"Device Inventory" report.

    So you're saying that even though the phone number shows up when I look at a phone I have to enter it manually somewhere else?  Why not use the field that has the phone number in it already and save people from having to enter it manually somewhere?
