2 APNs certificates - which one counts?

Today I upgraded an installation of SM to version 8.5.

As I checked the license and certificate runtimes I saw that the customer has 2 APNs certificates. One is under the customer "superadmin", the other is under the customer "customers name". Both have different end dates, so I am wondering which one will count in the worst case?

Under the customer "superadmin" the certificates for SMC and EAS proxy are installed ("customer name" doesn't have that option anyway), so why is it possible to install different APNs certificates for the superadmin and the customer himself?

  • ignore the superadmin apns, user the customer containers. no idea why the super admin is there as you cannot add devices under super admin. before i took over out system someone added an apns to the super admin, this expired years ago and ide rather live with the notification than renew it every year. our has been expired for over 12 months and does not cause any issues
