Hi all,

 

We've recently upgraded to 8.5, and the person who used to manage our Mobile Control a few months back. Yesterday we finally needed to access it and we've had nothing but issues. After finally getting logged in, upgrading the server, renewing the SSL certificate, and updating our license....we're still unable to register new devices on iOS at least, haven't tried others. We keep getting, "Activation Failed: Undefined Error. please try again later or contact your administrator. I've gone through all of the other posts on this, but they were a bit out of date (2 years or more) 

 

Is there any new info on this?

  • can u unroll ios11 devices?

    i have the same issue with ios12 devices, i created a ticket with sophos.

    there is a issue with sophos 6.5 and apple ios 12 devices.

  • Turns out I didn't add the SSL certificate to the database itself, you have to run the Sophos Mobile Control Setup Wizard, and skip the database portion and add it there. So I did everything correctly but that, it took about a half hour to get sync'd up throughout the whole system. But I was able to enroll iOS 12 devices!
