Release information
With this release, one new feature was introduced which allows the customer to manage Microsoft Intune Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies via the Sophos Mobile web console.
Using Microsoft Intune MAM policies customers can define app-level usage restrictions for specific Microsoft apps installed on Android or iOS devices.
A list of the apps which can be configured this way can be found on this Microsoft page.
To use this feature, a connection to an Azure Active Directory has to be established.
Details how to achieve this and the configuration possibilities can be found in the Sophos Mobile product documentation.
Once done, a new entry for "Intune app protection" will appear in the "Profiles" section of the Sophos Mobile web console.
When accessed, the Sophos Mobile server will always establish a connection to the Mircosoft backend and retrieve the latest policy configuration.
After modifying a policy within the Sophos Mobile web console the change is immediately synchronized back to the Microsoft environment.
The device on which the Microsoft apps affected by those MAM policies are installed does not have to be managed by Sophos Mobile.

In addition, this release provides compatibility with the latest iOS update 11.3 released last week
