Malware not cleaned up: 'Mal/DrodZp-A

Hi everyone,

I use a Windows computer and recently downloaded the free version of Sophos. A scan identified Malware -'Mal/DrodZp-A - but cannot clean it.

I am not particularly good with computers, so if anyone can suggest a simple fix, it would be much appreciated.

That detection will be because of a malicious file inside a zip file. Did it tell you the name of the file being detected and where it was on your computer?

Can I simply delete the zip file where the virus is located, and then delete again from Recycle bin?

What is the name of the zip file if you don't mind my asking?

But, yes, you can delete that zip file and empty the recycle bin.
