We need a way to define exceptions on which the system should not be installed automatically.

We need a way to define exceptions on which the system should not be installed automatically. If we have machines for testing in a customer network, we don't want to install endpoint protection on all of them. In the MSP Flex model this leads to immediate costs. So we need to create a way to turn off automatic deployment for certain customers.

Edit: But actually I also wanted to say thank you for developing a plugin for VSA, we only had agent procedures to distribute so far.

  • Hi AEX.  Thank you for the feedback!  We are happy this is being received well.  Automatic deployments isn't auto configured across all clients, and endpoints of those clients.  It needs to be manually associated with a Machine Group or Kaseya Org from the last screen of the Deployments wizard.

In your particular use case, I think you would want to do it at the machine group level allowing you inclusion of specific machines within a customer site, but not the entire site.  Additionally you could bypass the auto-deployment feature all together and single, or bulk deploy to selected machines as an endpoint action, available once you have uploaded your .CSV file.
